Mission Statement

We at James Robles, MD and Elite Medical Fitness understand that we are in a crisis of health and wellness in the United States. The current system of care is sickness based and reactive. The new paradigm of medicine should be proactive, educative, and integrative and health based. We have epidemic proportions of obesity, opioid dependence, and metabolic syndrome all which contribute to the rising prevalence of cancer and autoimmune disease. We understand that most “diseases” are preventable conditions that don’t have to be “cured”. We do not support the grim stereotype of aging as an unalterable process of decline. We support regenerative medicine interventions that slow or reverse age related changes in an otherwise healthy adult. Our goal is to serve as a guide for the wellness journey experience whose conversion into an established lifestyle of wellness. Our purpose is to educate, inspire, and provide options to address the metabolic and biosocial components and respect the biotensegrity framework of the human body.

We speak from the heart with levity, respect, and sincerity avoiding the disingenuous, robotic scripts and stereotypes of other centers. We listen to patients as narrative based medicine, to truly listen to patients’ stories as they teach us values and emphasize connection and connectedness. We understand that the greater evil is the pharmaceutical and food industry industrial complex, which is counter intuitive to cellular health with the collateral damage complications and side effects of patented drugs. We support evidence based medicine, but understand that much medical research studies may not be objective and support the agenda of the financial interest of the pharmaceutical industry over the actual benefits and concerns for public safety. We choose to provide an experience that enlivens the spirit within us to respect life and health as a true gift from God and enhancing our human relationships and enabling others to do the same. We understand that our practitioners and patients are students for life learning, relearning, and unlearning and applying new paradigms. In summary our approach is the application of integrative medicine, proactive healthcare, and regenerative medicine interventions so that the patient is assisted in becoming their own participant and greatest ally in preventing disease, adding life to years rather than years to life.
